WHY LAW?

My name is Kristie Coomer. I am a native Texan, who grew up in the Fort Worth area. After attending public schools, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor degree in ​Social Work and am a licensed social worker. After graduation, I worked for more than a decade as a Tarrant County specialized probation officer. I then transferred to the Tarrant County 372nd Criminal District Court as a senior court officer. Upon gaining legal experience in the public sector, I switched to the private sector as a paralegal. With my background in social work and law, I advocate for our clients’ legal rights. I enjoy helping our clients navigate through the complex legal system when facing difficult circumstances.
